Feeding Families Introduces . . .
God's Gifts Outreach Ministry
“He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them.” ~ Psalm 72:12 ~
Feeding Families Ministry Inc. has heard the call of God to go out into the communities to help His hurting children. We are taking a leap of faith in obeying the Lord and trusting for His provision as we obey His calling. You can be a part of God’s call to help His hurting children who think they have been forgotten and don’t know that God loves them.
You can also ask your organization or club to take part in a sock drive and collect socks for this outreach ministry! Call us to receive the donation barrel, posters and brochures for the drive, as well as we would be happy to speak to your club about this special outreach and the many ministries of Feeding Families Ministry In

Calling All Restaurants and Resorts!
Can your restaurant donate, after a wedding, banquet or event, or just leftover food at the end of the evening? This food is picked up by our volunteers and made into lovely meals for those in need. This is a win-win situation - there is no waste and people who need it can get nutritious food to keep them healthy.

Clubs and Organizations
Feeding Families invites your club, Sunday School class or organization to share in our outreach to our communities. Gather your group and volunteer on one of our outreach days, or we invite you to make a donation to help keep our doors open so we can continue to reach out to those in need. Following are ways some clubs and organizations are partnering with Feeding Families Ministry!
Boy Scout Troops do a lot of great projects that benefit Feeding Families Ministry families:
Boy Scouts made 22 baskets for our ministry this year!
Boy Scout Pack 90, which is sponsored by the local Rotary of the Poconos, held a bake-off April 16th. The boys made wonderful baked creations and they were judged. When the judging was over there was a silent auction to bid on their delicious creations! Over $150.00 was raised for this event and a vote was taken to donate the money to Feeding Families Ministry.
Steven Daurio of Troop 89 has been approved to begin his Eagle Scout project with Feeding Families. The project consists of six 7-foot long shelving units to house food, insulating the floor to prevent heat loss, and building a built-in double coat rack for the coat drives.
Church Groups:
The Golden Heirs Club of Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church is a faithful partner with Feeding Families Ministry. This group has also donated family Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets lovingly packed with goodies. Club members also organized and collected treats for Easter baskets for the children.
South Canaan Free Methodist Church is an ongoing partner with Feeding Families Ministry. The youth of the church recently hosted a soup and salad luncheon to raise money for our outreach programs. Over $300 from this fundraiser was donated to Feeding Families Ministry which was used for the Easter Outreach program for this year.

Spring Planting Time
For those who can't afford to purchase food, fresh fruits and vegetables are luxuries, but they are so necessary to maintaining the good health of the families we minister to. Would you consider planting an extra row of veggies in your garden this summer, or donating some apples from your fruit trees to benefit those who depend on the help of Feeding Families Ministry? if you sell fresh fruits and vegetables from your farm, would you consider offering your produce at a discount?

School Supplies Needed!
When budgets are tight, any extra necessary item brings an already difficult burden to families. With school uniforms and all the other things necessary to clothe and prepare children for a new school year, giving the necessary school supplies to get the new school year started off right is something inexpensive for you, but a godsend for our families. We are collecting school supplies right now, so as you walk through your local stores, pick up an item or two and drop it off at our ministry location in Mount Pocono. God bless you!
